Didn't even want to get out of their chairs to look at the sample part I had so they could try replacing it, rather just yelling at me from a far. No good

Call them up give them the Make, Model & VIN Number of your car and the part you require and they will offer you a price that is 50% that of a dealership and any immediate advice or manufacturers notes you may need. Delivery could have been from Eight Miles Plains? in QLD or for $10-$15 they will express deliver using TOLL Australia which I opted for from Melb. I ordered an alternator for a 2002 Model E46 BMW which I installed yesterday and it is running great. All up cost was around $550. The alternative was $1,100 from the BMW stealership here in Brisbane with an install for a 2 hour job at about $500. Thank you Baxters for providing an alternative.
